Your business, run from one place.

I build the systems small businesses run on: what you know, what's due, what's owed and what needs you today. Set up around the tools you already use, and handed over so it's yours.

Stewart Systems is a business systems consultancy in Wollongong, NSW, run by Christian Stewart. It builds compliance registers, operating boards and automations inside a client's own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account, for small businesses in the Illawarra in person and across Australia online.

The problem

Most small businesses run on memory, email and a spreadsheet nobody trusts.

It works, until the owner is sick, a key person leaves, a certificate lapses, or a quote goes quiet and nobody noticed.

The information is there. It's in Xero, the booking system, the inbox, a folder of PDFs and somebody's head. It just isn't in one place, and nobody has time to go looking for it every morning.

Illustration. Every Board is built around what that business actually checks.

Levels

Start with one thing that's biting. Go as far as it earns.

Three levels, each building on the one before. Most businesses start with the Register. The Operator is a second engagement, once a Board has been running.

Register

The Register

Your compliance register, done properly.

Every licence, ticket, insurance and dated item for your industry in one register in your own Google Drive or OneDrive, with a form on your phone and a flag before anything lapses.

Board

The Board

The business on one screen, every morning.

Everything in the Register, plus a board installed in your own Claude account that reads Xero and your register each morning and puts what needs you on top. One page per connected area, up to four.

Operator

The Operator

Drafts ready for a person to send.

Everything in the Board, plus two more connected areas and up to three draft flows: quotes, replies or notices. A named person in your business reads and sends every draft.

What we build

Pieces that fit together.

The Register stands on its own. Everything else is a connected area of the Board.

R

Compliance and registers

Licences, insurances, certifications, staff tickets and contract dates, with warnings at 90, 60 and 30 days.

Industries

Built for how your kind of business runs.

Electrical, plumbing, civil, scaffolding, traffic control, landscaping

Trades and construction

Crews across sites, head contractors checking your paperwork, quotes that need chasing, and margins you only see at tax time.

What we’d build →
Cafés, restaurants, bars, caterers

Hospitality

Thin margins, casual staff turning over, suppliers creeping prices up, and every review public.

What we’d build →
Physio, chiro, podiatry, psychology and dental practices

Allied health and clinics

Registrations, rebooking, admin that eats clinical time, and a front desk holding it all together.

What we’d build →
Accountants, bookkeepers, consultants, real estate and property managers

Professional services

Deadlines that can't slip, work in progress nobody can see, and knowledge that walks out the door when someone leaves.

What we’d build →
Shops, online stores, wholesale, makers

Retail and e-commerce

Stock that's either sold out or sitting there, suppliers to manage, and a content calendar that never quite happens.

What we’d build →
Gyms, pilates and yoga studios, personal trainers

Fitness and wellness

Memberships coming and going, classes to fill, and instructors whose certifications all expire on different dates.

What we’d build →
Tour operators, adventure activities, event hire, venues

Tourism, events and venues

Bookings, guides and gear, weather calls, permits, and a season that doesn't wait for your admin to catch up.

What we’d build →
Design, marketing, architecture, photography and video

Creative studios and agencies

Too many projects in flight, capacity you can't see, retainers that leak hours, and approvals lost in email threads.

What we’d build →

The morning brief

What needs you, before the day starts.

One email at 6am. Only the things that need a decision today, each with a link to the document, job or invoice. If there's nothing, it says so.

The rule that doesn't change

The system shows and flags. Anything that goes to a customer, a supplier or your books is drafted for you to check, never sent on its own.

How I work

  • In person or online. Wollongong-based. On site, on a call, or fully remote, anywhere in Australia.
  • Fixed prices. Agreed in writing before anything starts.
  • Your tools. Built on what you already use. No migration.
  • Honest scope. If you don't need a system, I'll say so.
  • Yours to keep. Your data exports any time.
Next step

Start with a free Snapshot.

Thirty minutes, and a one-page map of how your business runs today, where things fall through, and the three changes that would matter most. Yours to keep.
