Business systems for small businesses in Western Australia.

Everything is delivered online: the Snapshot on a call, the build inside your own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, walkthroughs on a shared screen. Clients in Western Australia get the same system as clients in Wollongong; the only difference is which regulator's dates go in the register.

Stewart Systems is a business systems consultancy in Wollongong, NSW, run by Christian Stewart. It builds compliance registers, operating boards and automations inside a client's own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account, for small businesses in the Illawarra in person and across Australia online.

What goes in a WA register

The same four groups as anywhere (the business, the people, the plant, the subcontractors or contractors), with WA's own authorities and cycles on each row:

  • Liquor and gaming: Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (RSA and approved manager requirements).
  • Food safety: Local governments under the Food Act; food safety supervisor requirements depend on the local government and business type.
  • Working with children: Working with Children Check through the WWC Screening Unit, three years.
  • Trade and construction licensing: Building Services Board registration; Building and Energy for electrical, gas and plumbing licences; WorkSafe WA high risk work licences.
  • Work health and safety, workers compensation: WorkSafe WA; WorkCover WA for workers compensation.

National items are the same in every state: AHPRA registration for health practitioners, Tax Practitioners Board registration for tax and BAS agents, AMSA certificates for commercial vessels, ABN and ASIC business name renewals, first aid and CPR cycles, and the annual Modern Award rate change on 1 July.

How it works from Western Australia

Free 30-minute Snapshot on a video call, then a one-page map within 48 hours. Fixed prices agreed in writing. The register is built in your own account, the team is walked through on a shared screen, and you keep everything. The Register is usually live within about two weeks of receiving documents.

Other states: NSW · VIC · QLD · SA · TAS · ACT · NT

Regulator names and renewal cycles above are a starting map, not advice; they change, so the register records the date from the document in your hand and links to the authority for the current rule.
