What you lose without it
A supplier's price rise lands in an invoice and nobody notices for a quarter, so every quote since was under-priced. The best-selling line runs out on Thursday. Three accounts have early-payment discounts nobody claims.
What it holds
Suppliers with terms, contacts, account limits, discount terms and price-change history. Standing orders and their cycles. Reorder points on the lines that matter, with days of cover. Deliveries expected this week.
What it reads from
Supplier invoices as they are filed (the Inbox module or manual), the POS or inventory export for stock, and the price book so a rise flows into quoting.
What the morning check says about it
"Reece invoice shows copper up 6 percent on last order; price book not updated." "Two lines under reorder point; delivery from Bunnings Trade due Wednesday."
Where a spreadsheet stops being enough
Thousands of SKUs, multiple locations with transfers, or serialised stock. Then inventory belongs in the POS or an inventory system, and this module reads it.
Starts at: From the Board (as a connected area). Levels → · Get a price →
All modules: Compliance and registers · Quotes and price book · Jobs, bookings and schedule · Money view · Clients and pipeline · Knowledge base and procedures · Staff onboarding and training · Morning brief and reports · Inbox and admin · Marketing, reviews and content · Handover and owner-away
