Short answer: build a price book once (labour by role, materials with markup, standard inclusions and exclusions, minimums and travel), keep a template in your format, and draft each quote from a voice note in the ute against that book. Ten minutes to check, not an evening to write.
The price book
Labour rates by role and by day/after hours. Materials list with cost, markup and supplier. Standard inclusions and exclusions written once. Travel zones and minimums. Package prices for the jobs you do every week. Terms that go on every quote.
The draft
"Two-day install, four fixtures, Kiama, client supplies tiles." The draft comes back priced from the book, in your wording, with the inclusions attached. You check, adjust, send. The quote log records it and sets the follow-up date.
Keeping the margin
When a supplier's invoice shows a price rise, the book is updated before the next quote, not after the next tax return. Hours-over-quote alerts during the job feed the next price.
