What a Snapshot looks like.

Thirty minutes, then this. A sample, for a plumbing business that doesn't exist. Yours will quote you, not Dave.

What falls through

  1. A certificate lapsed on the day Sydney Water checked. "We lost three days on the Corrimal job." Nobody owns renewals; the dates are in the documents, not in a list.
  2. Quotes go quiet. Four quotes over $8k sent in August; two never followed up. "I meant to."
  3. Sam is the training manual. When Sam was off in June, the new apprentice sat in the ute.

Three changes that would matter most

  1. A compliance register with a crew form and a 6am email (Register, Compliance). Every licence, ticket and certificate in one place; warnings at 90/60/30 days; Jodie checks submissions. Fixes 1.
  2. A pipeline list that tells you who to call on Monday (Register, Pipeline; or add it at the Board). Fixes 2.
  3. Write down the ten things Sam knows (Board, Business Brain), with a first-week plan for the next apprentice. Fixes 3.

What we would not do

Write your SWMS or answer Sydney Water's safety questions. Those stay with you and your WHS adviser. The register will tell you the SWMS review date, nothing more.

Next step

Say the word and a one-page proposal follows, with fixed prices for options 1, 1+2 and 1+2+3.
